If your School/District has opted not to setup via a direct SIS-data integration, Administrators should email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a blank template of the Onboarding Spreadsheet (instructions included on page 1 of the spreadsheet).
This may be applicable if you do not utilize a SIS system, or if you do not use Student IDs and want to utilize Trial enrollments.
Note: Manually entered rosters in Trials do not reflect Student IDs. Only Onboarding Spreadsheets and Clever enrollments reflect this information which better supports year-over-year student account use. Student accounts cannot be merged.
Teacher and Student IDs: Please notify us of any ID numbers that follow a convention (i.e., start with leading zeroes or includes characters like “ – “ or “_”). CSV files and Excel spreadsheets may easily drop leading zeroes, resulting in inaccurate setups.
Grade Level Entry: The grade level entered for each class determines what content will be default in that class. Please choose a single grade level for each class, including combination classrooms that include students from multiple grade levels. Teachers may add multi-grade level content post-setup.
Class size: Classes are limited to a size of 50.
Student SIS ID’s: Please ensure you enter the proper Student SIS ID number. Districts use several numbers to track their students- student numbers, lunch id’s, library numbers. The SIS ID is the number your student information system (DASL, PowerSchool, Skyward, Infinite Campus etc) uses to identify each student.
Administrator accounts: Administrator accounts may not be setup with the same email as an existing teacher account (and vice versa). Not available for in-product purchased licenses.
