What Topic Related Content is Available?
For each topic in TenMarks Math, teachers can preview and access:
- Sample questions for each topic with hints
- Videos that students will have access to for support during an Assignment
- Amplifiers that students may receive if they score under 70% on an Assignment
- Related Jam Session skills that may complement an Assignment (not applicable for every Assignment)
How can I Access Topic Related Content?
Topic related content can be accessed after an Assignment has been added to a unit in your Curriculum. On the right hand side of the Assignment title, you will see the “eye-con”. Clicking on this after an Assignment has been added to your Curriculum will display topic related content.
Teachers will be able to see 10 sample questions that would be similar to what students might see on the Assignment. Hints can also be viewed for each sample question.
Teachers can preview the same videos that students will have access to as they complete an Assignment. While some Assignments have only one video, others may have multiple videos if the Assignment involves more than one concept. Teachers may use these videos as a resource to gain a better understanding of what the Assignment is assessing or even use these with whole-class or small-group instruction.
Teachers can preview the same Amplifiers that students will have access to if they score below 70%. Similar to Videos, some Assignments have only one Amplifier, while others may have multiple. Teachers may use these Amplifiers as a way to provide scaffolding and remediation in their instruction or simply to understand what the student experience is with an Amplifier.
Jam Session Skills
TenMarks will provide a list of any related Jam Session skills that may complement a specific Assignment. Teachers may adjust Jam Session skills so that students only have access to skills that are related to recent instruction or Assignments.
